Return and drive drums

Return and drive drums are one of the most important components of belt conveyors. These elements should have the right geometry of workmanship to make the belt of the conveyors easy to guide.  Therefore, it is extremely important that the production of drive and return drums is made of high quality materials.

We offer several possibilities of surface finishing - smooth, rubberized or profiled. An important aspect is also to adjust the minimum diameter to the capabilities of the belt. Not selecting the correct drum geometry can cause premature wear or even failure.

We supply complete drive and return drums for the belt series: 400, 500, 650, 800, 1000, 1200, 1400,1600, 1800 mm and standard diameters. We manufacture custom drums on customer request. We manufacture drums in a rubberized (diamond- and smooth) and non-rubberized version.

Drum rubberizing service

We offer the service of rubberizing drums with the cold method. In the rubber coating we cut the pattern of diamonds or other according to the customer's needs and make the so-called Barrel, which allows for more accurate centering of the belt movement on the conveyor belt.

What are the characteristics of our drive drums?

Drive drums manufactured by us are distinguished by high durability and reliability. We manufacture them from thick-walled steel pipes, in the execution of ordinary or chromium-nickel steel. As a standard, the drums are made in a welded version with unseparated steel bearing housings. We deliver drive drums in the form of both independent elements and complete units. We help to choose the diameter and size of the drums depending on the transported material and working conditions.

Why is it important to rubberize the drums?

To increase the coefficient of friction, the drive drums are rubberized. Depending on the customer's needs we are able to adjust its appropriate structure. We rubberize the drums using the highest quality rubber on drive and return drums. We make sure that the rubber is thick enough to make grooves for the wedge. In this way the belt will work properly and there will be no faster wear.
